“My name is Andrew DePasquale and I am a Graphic Designer who focuses on digital imagery in graphic design such as logos and digital illustrations. I often use photographed scenes or objects collected over time that caused spurs of inspiration as resources for my designs by developing them in a way that incorporates the impact I initially felt from those experiences. In my illustrations, starting with a blank canvas and an image concept in my mind, I then let my creative imagination take over which allows the process of digital design to occur more naturally and spontaneously. Similarly, I also enjoy the narrative aspects and challenge of designing intriguing logos by imagining how objects related to a business’s theme could be incorporated into a design. Heavily influenced by my faith as a devout Christian, I am particularly inspired when I can portray my faith in my art. Just as God, the Creator, took great joy in His creation, I too appreciate being able to experience that same joy through my digital art creations.
I am also the illustrator and author of the published children’s book titled, “The Christian Alphabet”, which can be purchased and viewed through this link.
In addition to my artistic creations, I also enjoy and take inspiration from writing Christian-themed lyrics, and will occasionally submit them into lyric writing competitions.”
