Foot Traffic is a pop-surreal piece that served as an assignment during university. The goal of the work was to produce something surreal that was also grungy. Not particularly inspired by this genre of art, I took advantage of the exposed fear of one of my classmates being of bare feet and created this abomination of work. It was successfully executed in terms of skill, however this piece does not encompass any meanings or purpose like many of my other pieces. Aside from the pun in the title, each foot takes on the personality of whatever it once stepped on, the forefront foot having stepped on a LEGO brick (OUCH!) is driving a LEGO car, while the foot in the background having stepped on a treat is walking their pet toenail (I’m sorry/not sorry!!).
